Saving the video to your phone
On Android, tap Download and the MP4 lands in your Downloads or Gallery. On iPhone, tap Download (or Share → Save Video) in Safari; if it opens in a player, tap the share icon and choose Save Video or Save to Files.
Posting on TikTok
- Tap +, then Upload, and pick your video.
- Tap Sounds to add a track from TikTok’s library. Lower the original sound in Volume if you only want the new song.
- Add on-screen text if the joke needs setup (“when the group project actually works”).
- Write a caption and post.
Posting on Instagram Reels
- Tap + → Reel and select the video.
- Tap the music note to choose a licensed song; adjust the mix so the song sits on top.
- Add text or stickers, write your caption and share.
Posting on YouTube Shorts
Open YouTube, tap + → Create a Short → Upload, select the MP4, optionally add a sound from the Shorts library and publish.
Trimming or combining clips in CapCut
If you want to stitch several desk concerts together or add titles, import the MP4s into CapCut (or any editor), arrange them on the timeline and export in 9:16. TinyDesk AI Lab isn’t connected to CapCut — you’re simply editing the file you downloaded.
Captions and hashtags that fit the format
- Lead with the twist: “Our CFO has been hiding this voice for years.”
- Tag the people in the band (with their permission).
- Use a handful of relevant hashtags such as #tinydeskai, #deskconcert, #aivideo or #petband rather than dozens.
- Mention that it’s AI-generated — many platforms ask you to label AI content, and audiences appreciate it.
